Just was wondering what is done at the 6 week after surgery appointment? Do they run tests and if you are taking seizure medicine do they take you right off them or does it have to be tapered off? Also does the surgeon usually release you to go back to normal activities? Thanks for any info!
Everyone is specialized now. The surgeon will probably look at your scars, and take out stitches, if there are any. Typically, they leave the medicine adjustment to the neurologists to taper off or stop, etc, unless they just put you on anti-s drugs for the surgery.
