I was just hoping someone could answer a question for me. I recently went for a brain scan and have now been referred to another hospital because their scanner is stronger. I was told I had a twisted blood vessel, is this different from an avm, and is it anythinh to worry about. Thanks Angie
Sorry I don’t really have an answer for you, but I have always heard an AVM referred to as a tangle of blood vessels. I don’t know about a twisted blood vessel or the significance of it. Hope your next scan gives you more answers.
