I am now one week post alcohol embolisation in London. The face swelling was massive but it was not painful, just tight and a bit uncomfortable and it is going down nicely. Still need a straw and dribbling is not a good look but everything is what I was told to expect. Bit of blistering etc but baby wipes and lipsyl work wonders. Pain is side from a hiccup during surgery but this is improving. All in all so far so good. As I live a long way from London I will be emailing progress and reports in a few weeks.
