I wish I knew about this site when I was going through my research period. I am celebrating my third year since my AVM has been removed but three years ago before surgery was a very trying time. I found out about my AVM right before Christmas 2005. Right after that, it was appointments and disappointments as every surgeon I met with declined to perform any operation or procedure as the risk of death was very high. Needless to say, my prayers were answered and I experienced my own miracle. For everyone who is just finding out about there AVM…you are not alone and you will get through this.
