Video about seizures and treatments

Greetings.

I was watching the research channel a few weeks ago and stumbled upon an hour long video called “Epilepsy: Out of the Shadows”, by Dr Robert S. Fisher from Stanford.

I realize that few if any of us have Epilepsy, but this video speaks to the different kinds of seizures and different treatments for seizures, so there might be good info to share.

Thank you for the link. My EEG from a child has always shown epilepsy but never had seizures until approx 12 years ago. After my procedures it got worse. I have all types of seizures and sometimes I am not sure if it is one or not. This information helps. The doctors have advise me that even if they are able to obilerate my AVM they can not guarntee the seizures will stop because it looks like epilepsy is a secondary illness for me but you never know. My sister had seizures as a child but outgrew them so it does run in our family.
