The first embolisation on 11th December went very well, with 25% of the AVM plugged. No complications but quite a sore head for a few days. I was in hospital a total of three nights, with the worst nights sleep ever but happy to be ok after the risks which the doctor discussed.
Second embolisation scheduled now for 26th January. This is hopefully the last but its not impossible that a third maybe arranged if the AVM is not small enough for Gamma Knife.
