Hi all, So I was looking to get input on a touchy but important subject in most people’s lives! My son is 11 yrs old and since he was 2 my AVM was found and my husband and I were told I couldnt have another child until the AVM was gone. Well I still have the AVM, but I got a new dr and he said it’s ok for me to get pregnant. Now we are confused and wondering if we are ready and willing to start over. Is my health and such worth it or should we wait and see if the AVM is gone in October 2017. It…

Avm and pregnancy!

I’m 32 yers old and I’m married with a fantsic man (obviously in my opinion!;-P) and I’m relly afraid about pregnancy with our AVM (in Italy our Dr. call it ANGIODISPLASIA) because I saw a lot fo AVM getting wors with pregnancy!Someone of you had children and How was your pregnancy?And what happens after birth to your AVM?Thank for your support!Camy

I hope to get some opinions on the following: Can seizures occur again if the AVM is removed and what is the cause of it. Would it be advisable to have a baby and what is the risk Will the medication (lamictal) cause any harm to the baby

It sounds not really pessimistic for me. Of course will need advise from doctor, due to different situation from person to person.
