I never would have thought that my peripheral AVM would lead to so many new problems. Since the onset of the AVM, I've had many new diagnoses and had lots of new health problems, probably exaggerated by the tiredness and other consequences of having an active, bleeding AVM. Here is the link to my latest blog post, about my most recent operation. Things have been such a roller coaster for me and I can't fathom the changes that have been implemented into my life. Perhaps my AVM was a way of showing me things that were wrong, before they spiralled out of control. I'm very, well and truly blessed to have pulled through, and still be able to do the things I love, with the people I love too.

Your consultant sounds like a keeper, Steph. I am sorry to hear about the bone deterioration. Are you getting help with nutrition post-op? As that will make a difference. Here are some resources that could help, but check with your consultant before trying:
