My son is having Gamma Knife again in April after 20yrs his life has deteriorated tolife in wheelchair with not much life outside of setting and watching TV. We do not want to make life worse [painful] by doing radiation, but Drs. seem to think they can stop progression and maybe improve his situation some. Any thoughts and or results from treatments?
Hi, I’ve had gamma but mine is really different than your son’s, small and left temporal. I’ve had limited side effects and not sure if it was due to the bleed or the gamma. Sorry I can’t be more help, hopefully someone will be able to add some experience. I wish strength to you and your family as you go through the decision process, might be worth a second opinion.
