I have big AVM , can’t be treated … I am on AED’s from 3yrs… Can epilepsy or AVM cause heart disease?? I am having problem with chest heaviness and weakness… My mom recently got 2 stunt in her heart but coz she has diabetes… I am lil worried… can anyone help?? Thanks
Karan, if you are having anything associated to potentially your heart it is a good idea to pursue with your care provider. I was having some strange heart beat issues and followed up, ended up being benign but followed up when I noticed. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t an early warning of something potentially problematic. Take Care, John

I think an untreated AVM can cause the heart to work harder, so I think it’s possible to have a connection between the two. As John says, always worth talking to your doctor about.
