Can anymore recommend a doctor in the USA who specializes in pulmonary AVMS? I have already been diagnosed and had surgery but I’m continuing to have problems such as; polycythemia secondary, migraines and shunting due to dyspnea. My current cardiologist has never had a patient with pulmonary avms before me and I really think I could benefit from a specialist.
Any HHT Center of Excellence should be able to help. I had my PAVM treated at Yale (Dr. Pollak) two years ago as I believe they have the most experience of any center in the country. The University of Pennsylvania (Dr. Trerotola) is also a high volume center. Augusta University in GA may be the closest one to Florida.
