My AVM was discovered Feb 1, 2012 via CT angiogram after a sudden, severe, but possibly unrelated headache. It was further diagnosed Feb 14, 2012 via cerebral angiogram.
Three of the four surgeons I consulted said the cerebral angiogram was not clear.
One surgeon recommended microsurgery (craniotomy), one recommended an additional cerebral angiogram then radiation (CyberKnife), and the other two surgeons said they couldn't make a recommendation until I got an MRI.
