Onyx with Paragard complication

For women with the Paragard IUD who have also have onyx embolic agent, have you noticed any complications with your Paragard?

I ask because, from radiology findings, the iud broke apart into a bunch of pieces and migrated to multiple areas in my body.

Any help is appreciated. I don’t know if I just got a bad IUD or what.

Hi there @Emmy! Wow, that sounds like one of those really odd situations. I’ve never heard of that happening. I would definitely talk to you doctor about this, including the safety considerations of getting a new one if that is what you want. My guess would be a bad iud.
