New Devise called Brillance iCT

Has anyone heard of this new machine ? It is supposed to be able to do a cross section of any part of a person's body while being non-invasive. Read about this equipment doing angiogram for AVM with using the artery in a person's leg. In DFW area , looking for machine and doctor for this test in my part of the country.

Gene, it looks like Brilliance has been around since 2008, so not so new. I believe there are a variety of image technologies that can produce similar images, as I have seen images of similar detail frequently on our site. There is some hope that 3-D CTA technology will in time replace angiograms, but I don't think we are quite there yet. My son's doctor uses CTAs instead of angios wherever possible to eliminate the frequency of invasive procedures. He is at UAMS.
