@Melly I hope your headache is gone. I was going to suggest if your dr has not already prescribed zofran to help with nausea. It melts under your tongue and best to take before you start to vomit. It can make you sleepy too. If you having a side effects from the avm you should ask your dr to write a drs note so you can get a medical leave - not sure if you have LTD - When I had my stroke that lead to my avm I was off for about 13 months -
