My first post

Hi I’m Megan I’m new to the group
I was diagnosed with an AVM at four years old in my left thigh. This led to a diagnosis of cowden syndrome a genetic condition which has put me at an increased risk for cancer. Now my AVM has been monitored for years and has been stable.

Welcome Megan, its great to hear that hear that your AVM is stable. That has to be reassuring for you. I did have to look up Cowden Syndrome, as I have never heard of the condition before. I would imagine that you are involved with regular follow ups on that front to monitor? Take Care, John.

Hi yes it does involve regular follow ups involving cancer screenings and as of recently follow up for my AVM.
