Limitations

has your avm limited you in anyway?

yea, for sure…
i play water polo and swim and my whole life that ive played soccer or polo ive been goalie, and now i cant play that :frowning: its my passion but my surgeon wants me to avoid possible head injuries…
also in swimming my heart rate regularily goes high and my surgeon said to keep my pulse and blood pressure fairly normal so i cut myself off at 170 because anything over that is too risky in my head (he didnt give me a number…)
i also have always wanted to scuba dive but now i cant, at least until this goes away…
well, its nothing too life changing, but it def effects my mood big time

Hey, my AVM has definitely limited me. I used to be really sporty and play AFL and run and play touch etc but I can’t do any of it now. It’s been 10 months and I’m starting to get really annoyed with the whole situation. But other than that, I can still drive and travel so that’s OK. I’m going back to see my doctor on 15th October so I’ll see what she says about the exercise then. I’m also not allowed to drink heavily which is killing me… I’m dying for a tequila!

lol.
