Will I be on Keppra for the of my life?? Or until my liver fails...a good friend is a Stage 3survivor put it in . Perspective, Nicole, I will take radiation for the rest of my life! Get over it!!! I know probably a question for the Neuro, I will be there Friday. Unquestioning for a heads up?

I was taking 500mg of keppra since my 4 brain surgeries. The Dr. noticed that I was slow to rouse and often sleeping 16+ hours a day. She had me slowly taper off the keppra over the next month and a half or so. Since then, I have been taking effexor and fioriset to help keep headaches away and keep me focused throughout the day. I no longer sleep 16+ hours a day and have been sleeping 8-9. Hope this helps.
