I will keep you and your mother in my thoughts. Mine is almost 3cm in my right cerebellum but it is close to my brainstem. Get as many opinions as possible and one will feel right for you. My prayers for your mom I know how she feels in this so be her rock and good luck.
Thank you to everyone that has responded...your information is greatly appreciated. After seeing the first doctor they have sent her to a specialist, however the specialist is not able to see her until April- is this common? I am not sure how we are going to wait two months without having any of our questions answered nor being able to lay out a treatment plan. Feeling frustrated!!!

You are very blessed to have detected this AVM before it ruptured. some people aren't so lucky. my son had an AVM in the right area in his cerebellum it ruptured when he was 11. to this day my son remains in the hospital and the bleed caused extensive damage to his brainstem because of the location of the AVM. Thank God your outcome will be different. Detection before rupture is a true blessing.
