This research project question was very much important to me as I am a Brain AVM Surgery Survivor. The information I have found out was incredibly overwhelming for me but it completed the question that physical rehabilitation is successful in assisting AVM brain surgery/treatment patients to return to normality, but the mental side of rehabilitation isn’t as successful as after a traumatic experience you will never return to who you were before the incident ( if your AVM ruptured all of a sudden like mine did)
I’ve not had surgery but you survived and now you have a great story to tell. Embrace who you are.
