When I had my brain bleed, my dog Billy stayed in my bedroom with me for 1 whole year. He certainly was one of my caregivers. I truly think because I have him, it made me heal much quicker. I have short term memory loss and he tells me when it's time to eat, get up in the AM, etc. Thank goodness I have him and I'm not alone!
I hope you let Billy out to pee...lol. Seriously, though, dogs are awesome and wonderful companions especially in time of need. Wish it was the other way around too. :::insert Sara McLachlan here, with big sad puppy eyes:::: :J (Love ya Louisa)
