Feedback on 3 Doctors on Long Island and NYC

Hi all,

My father has a left parieto-occipital AVM that he treated with gamma-knife radiation about 2 years ago. He just recently (Monday) found out that he has had two bleeds (one old and one more recent). He went into the hospital because he was having symptoms (right sided weakness, forgetfulness, unable to get his thoughts out). Now he also has a right visual field deficit. We are looking at different doctors in the area. If anyone has any feedback on any of them I'd appreciate it. The doctors are:

Dr. Henry Woo @ Stony Brook Hospital
Dr. Philip Stieg @ NY Presbyterian (Wiell Cornell)
Dr. Alejandro Berenstein @ Mt Sinai

Any and all feedback is welcome! It looks like he needs surgery in a few weeks after the edema has gone down a little. We are hoping to pick a doctor in the next week or so or stay with his current doctor (Dr. Woo).

Thank you very much for your help!

Dr Berenstein is very popular. http://www.avmsurvivors.org/main/search/search?q=Berenstein and so is Dr Woo…http://www.avmsurvivors.org/main/search/search?q=Dr+woo

I had my surgery at Columbia Presbyterian hospital. Dr. Robert Solomon performed the surgery. He has an impeccable track record. He did a fantastic job and my scar is not visible at all.
