Drinking too much water

On a discussion I was having with @DickD

He mentioned that a lot of people don’t stay well hydrated and causes aggravated symptoms basically if you don’t drink enough water

I realise most are under-hydrated but… I was over hydrated

I thought I’d throw this in here too incase others are different like me

Prior to surgery I was always thirsty and my eyes hurt so I was constantly drinking water. Only when I was thirsty…which was ALL the time…which was the problem

The docs said normally (even tho I drank huge huge amounts - about 8 litres a day)… Not normally a problem over the day but with my avm, I was excessively hydrated and that’s more water in the blood and therefore more risk of it popping because expanded plus aggravating symptoms by having too much water in my blood which expands the vessels and just causes issues. They cut me down to max of 200mls per hour max (One cup basically per hour)

I didn’t realise until they told me… so just in case someone here is a huge water drinker like me… talk to doc n see what they say
