Avm recurrence rate in children

I echo the general sentiment here. One thing I also wanted to add was a study entitled: “Reappearance of arteriovenous malformations after complete resection of ruptured arteriovenous malformations: true recurrence or false-negative early postoperative imaging result?” In it the study rehearses a few rate instances of AVM regrowth. I would say checking with your neurodoc(s) to be sure, but basically once you reach 20-25 years of age, you likely won’t have any AVM regrowth as it already is such a rarity. Blessings as you continue!
