My child,Shanzay Shoaib is 3 1/2 yrs old and is suffering from congenital AVM from birth. her left hand, left side of chest and back is purplish blue and her hand expands when she cries or sleeps. when injured, there is a lot of blood lost.
please guide us to the possible treatments.
Please take a look at the subgroup: http://www.avmsurvivors.org/group/extremityavms. This is for members with AVMs somewhere other than the brain. Post a question in that group. You should receive some support and help.
You are in my prayers!
Shoaib, please look at the profile and photos for "Hellboy" from California, who has a diagnosis of KTS (Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome). Look also at the page and photos for "Keeley120." See if any of the photos look like your daughter. If the KTS photos don't look quite right to you, try searching on this site for "Parks-Webber" and view those pages and photos. Best wishes for your little girl and for your family. This must be a difficult time for you -- we are here to help.
Thanks every one for their support and showing corncern
Did you ever find the proper help? I have a right hand avm and what I have found that helps especially when sleeping is a compression glove that was fitted made for my hand. Consult with a physician to see if this will help your little one while sleeping.
