How many people have had their AVM cured by embolization and radiation only ? Mine was 5.6 cm when first discovered. Just curious. I don’t go back to see my doctor until January 2015. Then another angiogram in August.
Hi Melissa...I only had radiation. It took 2 years for me to be AVM Free after the radiation. Every case is different, but hang in there.
How big was yours?
That is why every case is different. Mine was smaller than yours...3.5 cm...far back in my brain...So several members have to have the radiation twice to remove the AVM.
