Any experience with TBI as a cause of AVM?

Thanks John. I did not have a bleed fortunately.
Praying I don’t.

Hi, unfortunately they do sound like they could be caused by the AVM. Your arm problem, blindness, the noise in your ears (pulsatile tinnitus) and the headache, they could all be linked. AVMs cause pressure on your brain and they also steal blood from other areas so depending on their location, they can cause seizures. This is how we found my son’s. He had a big, tonic-clonic type of seizure. He had brief episodes of confusion before that we tried to investigate but didn’t get as far as MRIs until the big one.

TBIs can cause seizures too so even though, as others have said, a TBI probably isn’t linked to your AVM as these are believe to be congenital, your seizures could have possibly been caused by the TBIs.
I wish you well as you navigate this.

Edit, I am super curious about the allergic reaction you mention (because my son has been experiencing what we atttributed to histamine reactions).
