Hi! I am 3 weeks out from having a crani and my right eye is still closed. Anyone else have this happen?
Hey Ann, there are a few things that could vary with why and what could be occurring. Depending on where they went in for you crani there could be nerves related to your eye that were involved and similarly with blood flow and the vessels to the area. When I had my craniotomy my right eye gave me issues too and to a point, still does. When I have a headache it closes up, it’s a bit like a gauge. A moderate headache and it 1/2 closes, a bad headache and it closes completely, even affecting the other eye. It’s a dead giveaway for my wife, she can read it even better than me. She knows when I’ve got a headache and it’s level just from my eyes.
But, after 3weeks and it’s still closed, IMO, go get it checked out.

My Doc thinks it will open, it just takes time. I was just wondering if anyone else had this happen! Thank you for the info.
