7th July 2009

This time 2 years ago, I was taken to Gold Coast public hospital for an MRI. I have no memory of this time. After the MRI, I was booked into Allamanda private hospital in preparation for my AVM Surgery the next day.
At this time, even though I now have no memory of this time, I do remember before that and the surgeon told me that he had to get the AVM out, I really had no idea what was going to happen. I just accepted that he was going to do the surgery, I was going to be in ICU for a few days and then home in another 10 days time.

Little did I know what my loved ones and I were going to go through in the coming months…

Watch this space and I will give you some of my story that starts tomorrow 8th July 2011 - 2 years ago to the day!

You’re an amazingly strong woman Lesley, and I’m so lucky to know you!! Love you!

I am so happy you are still with us! I agree with Trish…we are lucky to know you!

I too just had my two year anniversery. And oddly enough, i just excepted the surgery as well. I would swear that someone or something kept me calm through the whole ordeal. Must of had an Angel on my shoulder.
I hope your doing well. Happy Two year anniversery!
