Hi, I am post Gamma Knife for my AVM. It’s been 5 mos. Side effects are minimal, but today my GP said I had a lesion at the very back of my tongue. I have experienced mouth burning a little off and on since radiation. I am so paranoid about everything now. He is sending me to an ENT and of course it will be a month before I get in. Has anyone that has had GM radiation experience any symptoms of mouth burning and this issue that I am currently experiencing. Any insight would be helpful. Thank you.
Hey Patrice, I didn’t have anything similar. Would seem odd to me to be related as the gamma knife is very precise. I am no expert though, hopefully ENT is relatively quick. Take Care, John.
