2006 had a brainstem AVM in my pons they did an angiography with onyx. the fistula damaged a nerve. I was able to walk for a few months, then summer 2007 paralyzed T8. last few years I get sharp painful stabbing spasms every day several time per day in my legs, sometimes for hours. tried all sorts of drugs im at the max daily oral baclofed. VA neurologists suggest i try baclofed pump, but im unsure. any thoughts. how far has research on stem cell therapy progressed on reconnecting the nerve pathway?
