I have a complex spinal AVM with aneurysms that is currently causing lots of symptons. I had been off work since a suspected bleed in November but have been doing amended duties and less hours for the past 5 weeks. I am scared that at this time I cannot see myself working full time in the same place. Due to the risk (am a nurse in an acute psychiatric ward). Have a meeting with specialists on monday 27th Feb and know that i have to be 100% honest about not only my symptoms but my fears about my current role. Have read stories about people having to give up work. Very worried.
Gosh, Manda if you said you weren’t worried, we’d be worried! You certainly have a lot on your plate right now. The good news is, you’ve found this community, which is full of savvy and supportive people.
