On Feb 8 2010, Prof Michael Morgan from Sydney performed a resection (craniotomy) that was to give me back my life.
His neuro-psychologist Greg Savage, and his team then looked after me, seeing me through ICU and an aneurysm clip a week later.
They then kept me under observation as other organs shut down, eventually switching me from Dilantin to Keppra.
Ben Munoz's gift of this website, with so many of you survivors in it, then helped me to become a new (and better) person.
This is not a celebration, but a thank you to so many inspirational and positive people on this site.
Hugz, Tone

Thanks, you guys ... just proves my point about the positives that come through in here. Its a rare condition, and yet this site is so much about looking for positives, rather than those other "doom and gloom" sites.
I am so lucky to have found you great people!
Careful Mr Morrell - we could take you up on that offer one day.. lol

Tony- Every AVM birthday is a milestone isn't it? Great news and lucky for me, I get to celebrate this with you next month, in beautiful Anaheim. Looking forward to meeting you:-)

Heck Tony... Now that is something to celebrate (smiles). If you lived closer, I would take you and your family out for dinner. Or.. maybe I would cook and have you over. Steaks are my specialty. :)
