I havent been on in awhile but here's the latest. Its been 10 months since my crani yay!
But as of lately I've been feeling really dizzy, light headed and the loss of my periphreal vision makes everything more scary. I went to my regular doc and while looking at my left eye she says she sees a spot in the back..luckly i have a appt with a new neurologist this week but im feeling nervous about it all this was exactly how i felt before i found out about my avm. Can there be something else going on in my head?
Does anyone know if i Should have another mri/ct scan since it will almost be a yr since my surgery?
Please advise if u can..thanks

I agree with dancermom Nay, talk to your neurologist. It could be something or it could be nothing. When I started feeling more dizzy, light headed, etc. my neurologist sent me for lots of test. One of them, an EEG, was to see if I had developed a seizure disorder (I hadn't, by the way). He did order a new MRI just to make sure nothing was there (there wasn't). Basically, after all of the tests and the MRI he established that there is nothing new wrong with me, except the vertigp. He didn't know why my dizziness had increased. He did send me to see a physical therapist that specializes in helping people with vertigo. That didn't really help me. So, I do know that for me it comes and goes. It's sometimes worse than others and there isn't much I can do about it. I also know that the AVM is indeed 100% gone. One thing I would recommend is making sure that you try to stay rested. For me, the vertigo is worse when I'm overly tired. Not sure that helped, Nay but at least you know you're not alone :)
