I woke up this morning with a massive headache and a stiff neck. My tremors that I get, have been out of hand all morning. I also have the mental fog going on. I'm just not feeling to well all around.
I though to myself: "What the heck did I do to bring this on?!" Then it dawned on me. We got 5" of wet snow the other day. I snow blowed and shoveled 3 driveways yesterday. My mothers - which can park 4 cars in it, my friend's - which can park 10 cars in it, and mine - which can park 8 cars in it.
I over did it. But, you know...I would do again in a heart beat. I enjoy being outside and I like being constructive. I usually over do it more in the summer, when it's nice out. I have a bad habit of over doing it and pushing myself. You would think by now, I would know better. But, I don't. Old habits are hard to break. Ha Ha
I have a philosophy: I might live another 20 or 30 yrs. I also might only live another 2 days. Despite the 'problems' I now have, I'm still going to try to do the things I like to do (and can do). Yea...I pay for it later that day or the next day. But, Hey... At least I enjoyed myself. :) Thank you for listening.

What a bummer, Ben!
It feels so good to be doing something physical and rewarding like that, then argh! to pay for it the next day. :(
I echo what Cindy says and try to modify your activities, but keep on living your life to the fullest, yet within your limits. :)
Comment by Andrea Fisher on February 22, 2011 at 8:49pm Well you should be careful!! Over doing it once in awhile isnt to bad but why add more fuel to the fire. Sometimes it is worth it to feel like crap later on so as long as you had fun for a bit =) Be safe
Comment by Cindy Phillips on February 22, 2011 at 6:36pm Cheering for you, Ben! Don't stop living your life by not doing what brings you happiness (unless, of course, if it does jeopardize your health, then 'modify' it so it doesn't put you in 'jeopardy') and take care of yourself ALWAYS.
