I've finally made it through school! Granted, it was a vocational school and a 9 month program, but I did it. I completed all of my courses for the education portion and I maintained a 4.0 up until my last class where I got a high B. That disappointed me as I hoped to graduate on a 4.0, but let's just say Billing and Coding are not my specialty and I am so glad I went to school for Medical Assistant. LOL
I now have to complete 200 hours of extern before I'm fully considered finished and done, but I took an LOA for the month just because everything got so intense and I felt like I needed to slow down. I want to go into extern with a clear head, ready to kick butt and take names. Some of my classmates already on extern were telling me that they are finding themselves educating students of other programs from other schools out here, so it makes me SUPER glad I didn't go to those bigger named over-advertised schools, because we apparently got the 1 on 1 teaching and the advanced skills that are needed to succeed in our career fields of choice.
Anyways, I hope all is well with everyone here! Jan 2014 will mark my 4th AVM anniversary so it's neat to see how my life is starting to progress. Much love and happiness to you all. I hope my journey gives someone, if not several people, some kind of inspiration.
