I'm not how all of this works. I'm trying to find a good neurosurgeon and a rehab place in the area. Can you help me out here? Thanks~ElizabethContinue

Comment by Jaylo88 on Thursday Any upcoming events in the Houston or sorrounding areas?.

Heya Jaylo88!
They kinda buried the get togethers (events) under the More tab on the main page or scrolling way down to almost the bottom of the main page. But you can go to it directly by clicking on this link: http://www.avmsurvivors.org/events/avm-get-together-in-wimberley-texas. Would it be just you or is someone else coming? I’ll put you down on the list definitely though :J. Hope you’re doing well!

s.rensland,
If you click on the members tab at the top of the page and then click on “advanced features”, you can input Houston into the city to do a search for Houston members. There are about 30 people that come up (I know a lot of them). In addition, Daniel Sadler and his wife do an annual BBQ thing at their house near the Woodlands around May or so (please don’t hold me to that…he hasn’t posted anything yet) and they are awesome! Also, there is a get together at the Cheesecake Factory in the Woodlands around December if that interests you. We even have a DJ in Sugarland Texas that had an AVM that has a show that you can listen to as well. (He’s mucho awesome to and I saw him and his wife last at Daniel’s BBQ). The Houston area seems to be hopping with AVM activity. That is why I’m trying to organize a get together for the other side of Texas… lol. Hey you can go to all three (Wimberley, the BBQ, and the Cheesecake Factory) if you want! (Ok, that’s a lot of driving). Either way, I wish you the very best and welcome to the group!
Suzy
Comment by s.rensland on March 21, 2013 at 9:21pm Hi I'm new to the group. Do any of you live in the houston area?

My bad Brent, here is a link to the event... http://www.avmsurvivors.org/events/avm-get-together-in-wimberley-texas

That is so exciting Brent! I can't wait to meet you and Tammy! Yes, I kinda need to give the restaurant a head count so if you could, please respond to event as attending. Hope you two are doing well! :J
Suzy, Do we need to rsvp for the Wimberley event? If so, Tammy and I are planning on coming. We are looking forward to it. Thanks, Brent
