Either a adult or a child. My daughter is turning 13 on the oct 22. She was born with a left labial a.v.m she was treated a few times at johns hopkins interventional radiology. I have been searching like crazy for anyone who has one in the same spot. Hers is external (you can see it and see it pulse) and internal. We had 4 embolizaitons as a small child and now it has come back but they said they didnt see artial feed on m.r.i. so treating it as a painful v.m this time.

I am hoping to find someone who has it in same spot for support for her and me. Its really hard having it there. After the last treatment as she is older now and having it in the spot she does makes it really hard on her. So maybe if we could find someone who had it too she would not feel like she is the only one. As most of you know this is not the normal place for the a.v.m to be present.

THanks
Kikko

I will suggest interstitial laser treatment with 532 nm Diode laser. You have to consult lasercenter, which has spesialist in this treatment.

Best wishes Thomas

She undergoes embolization treatments already or scholotherpy how ever you want to say it. she has been getting treatments at johns hopkins chidrens center for many years. I dont know if you are joking or not. But if you are that is a horrible joke to reply to for a child.
I want to find a female adult with one in the same spot to ask them some personal questions. because a.v.ms are usually in brain we have so many other complications i want to see if other females do too.
