hi my name is andre i have a son with avm in the spine he has just had a op
and is not doin well at all he is in constance pain we keep going back to the hospatil
but keep getting sent home can you help us it is just so streesful for us all to see him like this
cherish our son is 20 yo would love to hear from you

Hi Andre,
welcome fellow kiwi to my wee group, I'm sorry to hear that your sons not doing so well, I don't know much about AVMs of the spine, mine was in my brain and I also had surgery. Another fantastic group on this site is the Australian and New Zealand support group, I have lots of friends in there, please join them there may be someone in Auz with a spinal AVM that can give you info. Which hospital is your son being treated in? So you said they have operated, what is there plan now? I know how difficult this is for you all and am here to support you anyway I can.

it went good he wants to do a big test on me he has to open the top of my leg then put a tiny cam up my leg into my head i will be put to sleep for it he wants to look at it.
