Comment by Leslye Wilson on April 23, 2013 at 12:22pm Hello DC45, and welcome to the group. What type of surgery will your friend have done? The best advice that I can give for your friend, is to listen to his body, and rest when he needs to while in recovery, and to be patient with himself. I wish I could give better advice. A member of this group is putting together a support group for the Mid-Atlantic and will hold meetings in College Park. Here is a link to the group if you would like to bring your friend to a meeting in the future: https://www.facebook.com/groups/midatlanticavm/
Good luck to you and your friend.
