Just curious if any of you with untreatble AVM's ever feel these headache bursts (sorry not sure what to call it)
example would be when I cough (which is alot right onw cuz I am sick) I get these sharp bursts of pain on the tip of my head as I cough.
it happens whenever there is a sudden burst form me, like a sneeze, a cough, sometimes when I yell...
its really wierd, sometimes I get a bad haeache that stays too, sometimes it goes right back to the dull one I always have...

Hi, Lianne. Yes, I get sudden bursts of pain above my right eye, but they don't seem too be caused by anything.
Oh yeah! I HATE those....It's so bad that I can't see or move and it usually lands me on the flood. I think they are called 'neurological events' or 'spontaneous pain'.....
Yes, I also have an anusym, a had a bad cold last year, coughing all night. Went to "Dr's and said if the
AVM or anusym don't kill me the bloody coughing will. Just part of it I guess.
