Two lonesome souls

Separation: miles

Hearts steeped in happenstance

Self-defined styles

Yet so much in common

Despite time's taken toll.

Combine and mix thoroughly

Bake until done

Yield

One designer friendship

Laughter and fun

Those souls once lonesome

Now forever one.

Because You Are You

Your golden words brighten

Like bright rays of sun

 And I smile

 Because you are you.

 I cherish the thought

 Of times spent together 

As friends, forever, my jewel.

 Your eyes glow like embers

  Dancing like flame 

In the fireplace of my heart. 

 You kiss me 

 With fragrance 

Of roses in bloom 

As your heart's rainbow

 Colors my world, once blue

. My world is richer,

 Everything is new

 My life is worth living

 Because you are you.

Clouds Crying

The clouds were crying

 As summer was dying,

 The wind a somber refrain.

 I walked alone,
To all unknown

, And longed for true love again.
I settled the score

 And vowed never more,

 To offer my heart again.

 'Twas then I found you

Fresh as the dew

 And wakened my love anew.
To this love I've found

 I'm forever bound,

 My heart will never stray

 The sadness felt,

 Began to melt 

 And cloud tears have all gone away.

My AVM Journey

An encounter with an AVM
Is something very scary-
Not knowing if you'll live or die
May depress and leave you wary.

But now we belong to a group
Of thousands who are sharing-
From every corner of the earth
We've made friends who are caring.

We've traveled down a rocky road
Lined with pain and indecision-
To help you walk a smoother path
Is now my divine mission.

To find your soul now close to mine
Is no happenstance collision-
Your love for me is ecstasy
We've made the right decision.

The day once dark as night

 Again is bathed in bright sunlight.
