My dad is doing better slowly. We just got a new doctor appointed to him and within two days he is already doing better. His previous doctor misdiagnosed him, he is actually classed as catatonic which is a whole different treatment then what he was on to begin with. How is your mom doing? Does she have any headaches or seizures? How are you doing?

hi! i can definitely tell already that this site is helpful beyond words. i have found that it is so difficult for people to understand what we, as children and caretakers, have to go through because it's so hard to relate to due to the rarity of AVMs. my mom just had her-fingers crossed-FINAL surgery about three weeks ago. this was her fourth one and this doctor (her third neurosurgeon) said that he thinks this was it. she did experience some hearing and vision loss as well as nerve damage on the left side of her face but by the grace of God, her hearing has returned. she has to go back around november for another CT angiogram but besides that, we are thankful she is doing okay. how is your dad?

Hi nicole, how are you?
Its nice to have someone else to talk to, that knows what i am going through. How is your mom doing?
This site really has worked wonders for me and my family. The people hear are all so friendly even through there situation.
