Hey guys , I have an avm and also suffer from pseudo tumor cerebrai. Which also causes migraines and vision loss. It's crazy because not many people have these diseases which makes it both hard and frustrating to get help. I'm learning to just take it all day by day.

Hey, I am also new to this site. I am battling an avm and I also have rsd and fibromyalgia right along with degenerative disc disease and protruding discs in my lower back. And am also dealing with endometriosis. I am about to start a new drug that will temporarily put me into menopause. I have a big cyst on my uterus that is causing severe pain and other problems. My cervix is covrered in cysts and so is my right ovary. So I understand how you all feel. But I am here if anyone would like to just talk or vent.

I understand how you feel. I joined the group because along with the AVM, I have Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome, type 2 adult Diabetes(caused from the P.C.O.S.) and several cysts on my ovaries causing many other problems. i am hoping that the cysts don't rupture because the likelihood of them doing so has increased since 2008 when i had rupture then. didn't know about actual cysts then, but on recent mri/ct scan of my spine following the spinal tap they were found for first time. since my diagnosis at age 16 i have several ultrasounds done and they never could find them but it showed up on the newer tests. amazing. I cope with all of my disorders and pray for the time when "No resident will say: I am sick!"__Isaiah 33:24

I've joined this group too as in addition to the AVM I also have a spinal cord aneurysm, scoliosis, fibro, and a couple of other nifty little things.

Does anyone have any diseases or conditions(like bleeding disorders,shunts,or metal implants,etc) that complicate,confuse,hide and/or just plain scare you and your doctors when dealing with everything? My son has so much metal in his head that you can't find anything.
