Dear Aussies,
I would like to ask you for recommendations of AVM expert neurosurgeon. Preferably in Melbourne but will consider other locations in Australia.
I am looking for a second opinion from an experienced AVM surgeon.
You can send me a private message if you don't like to be public ;)
Thank you

I recommend that you see Professor Morgan. Sydney.

Thanks Elva :)

Looking for more opinions...

Hm, Elva, I just saw on your profile that you posted a long message in this discussion and here I can see only one sentence. Don't know what's wrong?

Professor Jeffrey Rosenfeld at the Alfred Hospital,Melbourne, is one of the world's best. It is a public hospital but he takes private patients... many high profile - Jim Steins the footballer. I had him by chance - I was rushed to emergency there for an emergency AVM hemorage/craniotomy. He saved my life. Good Luck!

Hi i sent my mri to professor morgan in sydney, i believe hes one of the best, but im in melbourne too. I know theres a surgeon at alfred, i think they have a clinic, and dr Rosenfeld at royal melbourne. Who have you seen? I havent got private health at the moment so im not sure. Mines only 50% of rupture, etc so i still dont know what to do. Ive only know of this a few months.

hi, i recommend Dr. john Laidlaw/ rmh ,melbourne. he is a great great great great neurosurgeon!!!!

I would recommend you see prof morgan in Sydney, we seen John Laidlaw in Melbourne but he couldnt help the avm to difficult.
