Get your walking shoes ready!

TAAF is currently planning the 5th Annual AVM walk!

Last year was such a great success and we can boast that between Team AVM Survivors and Team Baby Nathan, that we were indeed the largest group walking. This year we hope even more will make the trek out to San Francisco (hopefully nice and sunny this time) and join us in walking to raise awareness.

The new walk site has been announced! And they changed the date on us slightly to the 2nd Saturday of May. No big deal, everyone is still coming right?

Be sure to purchase an AVM Tshirt! Wear it at the walk, or if you can't make it to SF you can still support TAAF with the purchase of one of our very cool T's! Go vote for the design.

Hope to see many of you in May!

We're looking forward to the TAAF Walk in SF this weekend! We'd love to get our community together to meet and mingle so here's the list of events. Please feel free to organize your own additional events (eg, dinners, etc).

Friday 6ish- Dinner at La Barca. Nothing fancy, just casual and close to Hotel del Sol. We will either just dine in the bar, or may need to make reservations if many of you want to meet and eat! Please let Shalon know if you want to join us.

Friday Drinks- For those of you who want to skip dinner, we still plan on hanging out at La Barca for some drinks and mingling. Our fearless leader Ben will make his grand entrance on Friday night!

Saturday 9:30a Pre-Walk bagels & coffee - Let's meet early at the walk site. TAAF will have coffe and some little breakfast treats. We can hang out, meet up with those who couldn't make Fridays festivities, and spend more time getting to know each other before we start the walk at 10:30.

If you haven't registered it's not too late. Just go online here and sign up. You can also wait and sign up at the walk site...but it's an extra $5!

If you still want a t-shirt please check with Shalon to see if your size is available. Then just Paypal the $25/shirt to Ben at paypal@bensfriends.org. We have a few mediums and larges left but hurry!

They are located in the SF Bay Area, so of course they have the best contacts there! However, they have posted a note on their FB page for people to contact them if they are interested in organizing a walk in their area.
